President of Republic Receives Burkinabe Ambassador’s Credentials

On 21 May, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received the credentials of HE Mr. Saidou Mika, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burkina Faso to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

After the presentation of the credentials and the audience granted to him by the President of the Republic, the Burkinabe diplomat made a statement to the Mauritanian news agency in which he said he was honored to present his credentials to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic.

Mr. Mika added he conveyed to His Excellency the greetings of Captain Ibrahima Traore, the President of the Republic of Burkina Faso, indicating that the Mauritanian and Burkinabe people share the same objectives and that he intends to work for the consolidation of relations between the two countries.
