On 28 April, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union (AU), arrived in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to participate in the IDA for Africa Heads of State Summit.
Upon his arrival in Nairobi, His Excellency the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union was welcomed by Mr. Moses Kuria, the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development of the Government of Kenya, and HE Ms. Khadijetou MBareck Fall, the Ambassador of Mauritania to Kenya.
Then, His Excellency, the President of the Republic, signed the guestbook of VIPs and distinguished guests at the Orient Hall of Nairobi International Airport.
The summit opens on 289 April in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, with the participation of His Excellency the President of the Republic, AU Chairman, and His Excellency the Kenyan President William Ruto, as well as several African leaders and representatives of the International Development Association (IDA) and the World Bank.
His Excellency, the President of the Republic is accompanied by a large delegation composed of:
– Mr. Moctar Ould Djay, the Minister in Charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic.
– Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
– Ms. Khadija Mint MBareck Fall, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Nairobi.
– Mr. Harouna Traore, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.
– Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Vadel, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.
– Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.
– Mr. Hassan Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
