President of the Republic, AU Chairman, Leaves for Nairobi

On 28 April, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union (AU), left Nouakchott for Nairobi, Kenya, to participate in the IDA for Africa Heads of State Summit.

The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure from the Nouakchott-Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, several members of the Government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.

His Excellency, the President of the Republic is accompanied by a large delegation composed of:

– Mr. Moctar Ould Djay, the Minister in Charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic.

– Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

– Ms. Khadija Mint MBareck Fall, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Nairobi.

– Mr. Harouna Traore, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.

 – Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Vadel, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.

– Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.

– Mr. Hassan Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
