President of Republic Leaves for Rome

On 24 January, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, left Nouakchott for Rome (Italy) to participate in the Italy-Africa Summit.

Upon his departure from the Nouakchott-Oumtounsy International Airport, His Excellency the President of the Republic was greeted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Wali of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.

During this trip, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani is accompanied by a large delegation, including Messrs.:

– Moctar Ould Diay, the Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

– Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;

– Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Dahi, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Rome;

– El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
