Cairo: Foreign Minister Meets With Egyptian Counterpart

On 24 January, in Cairo, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met with Mr. Sameh Shoukry, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, to whom he conveyed an oral message from His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the remarkable relations between our country and the Arab Republic of Egypt and ways to develop and advance them toward broader horizons to meet the interests and aspirations of our two brotherly people.

The talks also touched on all topical issues in the Arab world, Africa, and internationally.
