The Arab League Welcomes the Return of Relations Between Mauritania and Qatar.

An official source in the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States welcomed the announcement of the return to normalcy of relations between Mauritania and Qatar and the agreement to reopen the two embassies in the two countries as soon as possible.
The source added that this step is aimed at cleaning the Arab atmosphere, healing the rift between the brothers, and restoring unity between brotherly Arab states.
The source praised the important role played by the Sultanate of Oman in the mediation between the two brotherly countries, which kept pace with the talks between the two countries through intensive contacts in recent weeks, paving the way for the restoration of relations.
