Minister of Economic Affairs Meetes With Delegate Minister in Charge of French Foreign Affairs Trade.

The Minister of Economic and the promotion of productive sectors, Mr. Ousman Mamadou, held a meeting yesterday evening, in Paris, with the French Minister Delegate in charge of Foreign Trade and investment Attraction, Mr. Frank Riester.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries and push it forward.

During the meeting, the French minister expressed his country’s stand by Mauritania, stressing full readiness to accompany our country and support it at various levels to achieve the desired economic development.

He stressed that this support will be materialized though the follow-up and guidance of the French government to the various French institutions that have partnership relations with our country, with the necessity to give the necessary care to ensure the accomplishment of the commitments and the achievement of the desired goals.

The minister expressed his readiness to visit Mauritania soon, leading a delegation of French investors to get acquainted with investment opportunities in Mauritania.
