President of Republic Inaugurates M’Bakh-Dick Farm Development Project

On 22 December, in Rosso, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, inaugurated the project to rehabilitate the M’Bakh-Dick farm, which aims to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the area.

The realization of this project required an envelope of approximately one billion five hundred million MRO, financed by the World Bank, while its project management took place, under the supervision of the National Rural Development Company (SONADER).

The total area of the project, which aims to develop agriculture in the country, is approximately 780 hectares, benefiting many families from neighboring rural communities through a committee composed of local administration and representatives of

technical departments of the wilaya.

The project consists of a pumping station equipped with four submerged generators with a level of 750 liters per second each.
