CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development: We look Forward to the Continuation of the Relationship Between the Fund and Mauritania

The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Mr. Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid, expressed his happiness at being in his second country, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, on Monday evening in Nouakchott, during a press point, on the sidelines of the signing of a loan agreement with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh.

He said that he participated on Sunday during the visit of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and his accompanying delegation to the city of Atar, in the opening of the medical center in Atar, adding that he signed today a loan agreement to finance the project to establish dedicated institutes in vital fields with an amount of $ 40 million.

He pointed out that next week, hopefully Almighty, the R’kiz agricultural project will be inaugurated, which the Fund contributed to financing with $ 34 million, to rehabilitate and reclaim agricultural land to contribute to increasing production capacity until reaching self-sufficiency in the R’kiz area, highlighting that these projects reflect the strength and strength of the relationship and partnership between the Saudi Fund for Development and Mauritania, which extends for more than four decades, during which more than 30 projects and development programs were financed with an amount exceeding one billion. And a hundred million dollars.

He said that the Saudi Fund for Development looks forward to the continuation and development of this relationship in the future.
