Emir of Kuwait Passes Away

The Office of the State of Kuwait’s Emir has announced the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Sabah.
The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) released a statement from the Emir’s Office announcing to the Kuwaiti people, the Arab and Islamic Ummah, and the friendly peoples of the world the sad news of the death, on 16 December, of the Emir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh
Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Sabah. May Allah welcome him to his vast Paradise. Previously, state television had interrupted its programs and broadcast verses of the Koran.
