Commissioner for Human Rights Participates in a High-level Conference To Commemorate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

On Monday 11 December, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Sheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, participated at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, in the work of the high-level international forum commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This international conference witnessed the presence of international figures, including heads of state and government, ministers and high-level international figures, as well as international human rights experts.

This conference is organized under the slogan: “Together, let us revive the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and show how it can meet the needs of our time and advance the promises of freedom, equality and justice for all.”

According to the organizers, this conference is a historic celebration known as the 75th Human Rights Initiative.
