Minister of Justice Receives British Ambassador to Mauritania

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ould Boya, received, Thursday in Nouakchott, HE Mr. Simon Biden, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on cooperation relations between the two countries and on ways to strengthen and develop them, particularly in the judicial field.

During his talks with the minister, the British diplomat praised the efforts made by the Mauritanian government, particularly in the areas of human rights and justice.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Ould Ahmed Aida, Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice, and Mr. Amar Ould El Ghassem, Technical Advisor to the Minister.
