President of Republic Meets With Guinea-Bissau Counterpart

On 5 October, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received His Excellency Mr. Umaro Sissoco Embalo, the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, who is currently paying a friendly visit to ourcountry.

The talks between the two presidents focused on issues of common interest and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

During this visit, the Guinean President is accompanied by Mr. Souare Sambo, the Minister Secretary General of the presidency, Mr. Kalifa Kasama, the Director of Cabinet of the President, and General Sandji Fati, an advisor at the Ministry of Defense.
