Mauritania Offers Condolences to Libya over Floods’ Victims

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania expressed its sincere condolences to the Libyan government and people following the victims of the devastating floods that swept many Libyan cities.

Here is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ‘statement:

” The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad has learned with great sadness the news of the painful losses caused by floods in the sisterly State of Libya.

On this occasion, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of Libya and affirms its full solidarity with them in the face of this ordeal and its consequences.

May Allah bless the martyrs with His mercy and grant them his spacious paradise, and grant the martyrs a speedy recovery. We belong to God and to Him we shall return”.
