Foreign Minister Receives Russian Ambassador

On March 6 in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received H.E. Mr. Alexey Malenko, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mauritania.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and explored new prospects for strengthening them. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
