Economic Affairs Minister Receives World Bank’s Resident Representative

On March 6 in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdallahi Ould Souleimane Ould Cheikh Sidiya, Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, received H.E. Mr. Abou Diouf, the World Bank’s resident representative in Mauritania.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the various aspects of cooperation between our country and the World Bank Group and to discuss ways of strengthening and developing these relations to serve the country’s development and economic interests.

The two parties also discussed prospects for future partnerships and the need to accelerate the pace of implementation of World Bank-financed projects, ensuring their alignment with our country’s economic and social development priorities.
