Africa Eco Rally Coordinator Expresses Gratitude to Mauritania and announces Dates for the 17th Edition

Minister of Trade and Tourism, Ms. Zainab bint Ahmednah, received a message of thanks from the General Coordinator of the Africa Eco Race, Mr. Anthony Schlesser, on behalf of the organizing team and the participants of the 16th edition of the race, which passed through Mauritanian territory at the beginning of 2025.
Mr. Schlesser expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome and professional organization of the race caravan in Mauritania.
He emphasized that the efforts made by the Ministry of Trade and Tourism and the local authorities contributed greatly to the success of the event and enabled the participants to enjoy the experience in the country.
He added that the team was impressed by the generosity and warmth of the Mauritanian people, which made every moment in Mauritania an opportunity to highlight the beauty of the local nature, the richness of the culture and the generosity of the people.
The General Coordinator also announced the date of the 17th edition of the race, which will be held in Mauritania from February 1 to 6, 2026, noting that it will be an opportunity to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the organizers and the host country, promising more success and unique experiences for all participants.
Mr. Schlesser concluded his message by reiterating his thanks and appreciation to the Minister and her team, emphasizing their shared commitment to the success of the next edition of this prestigious environmental sporting event.
