Minister of Social Work: The Sector is Determined to Achieve the Pledge of His Excellency the President of the Republic to Access 100,000 Children to pre-school Education

The Minister of Social Work, Childhood and Family, Safia Ment N’Tahah, held talks on Tuesday in the meeting room of the ministry’s headquarters in Nouakchott with a technical team from the World Bank.

In the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between our country and the World Bank, especially in the field of developing pre-school education.

The Minister said that the development of pre-school education is one of the most important pledges of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, stressing that the sector is determined to achieve His Excellency pledged to provide 100,000 children with pre-school education.

She pointed out that pre-school education contributes to the upbringing, protection and preparation of children to enter the first year of basic education, and contributes to the rooting of national unity.
