Minister of National Education Receives International Counterpart Vice President

On 17 March, in Nouakchott, Mr. Ibrahim Vall Mohamed Lamine, the Minister of National Education and Reform of Education System, received Ms. Gwendoline Abel, the Vice President of the International Counterpart Organization.

The meeting made it possible to discuss cooperation relations between Mauritania and this American organization, particularly support for school canteens.

Mauritania and the United States recently signed a memorandum of understanding to implement the McGovern-Dole Global Education Nutrition Program, which will enable the development of school feeding programs, improve health results, and strengthen the basic education system.
