President of Republic Returns From N’Djamena

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott, Tuesday evening, 16 February, from the capital city of Chad, N’Djamena after taking part in the works of the VII summit of the G-5 Sahel Heads of Sstate.

He was received upon his arrival at Nouakchott International Airport-Oumtounsy by the Prime Minister M. Mohamed Ould Bilal, the minister secretary general of the Presidency and ministers of Justice, Interior and Decentralization, the deputy director of Cabinet, the mayor of Nouakchott and the chairperson of Nouakchott region.

During this trip the president was accompanied by an important delegation including:

-The First Lady, Mariem Mint Dah
-Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs ,Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad
-Hanenna Ould Sidi, Minister of National Defense
-Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors
– M. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, Director of President’s Cabinet
-Mohamed Yahya Ould Teïss, Ambassador of Mauritania to Chad ;
-Isselkou Ould Cheikh El Wely, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic
-Yahya Ould Kebd, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency
-Sidi Ould Domane, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency
-El Hacen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
