On 27 February, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ould Soueidatt, the Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Relations with Parliament, received a Qatari delegation from the Qatari Katara Cultural Village Foundation led by its Director General Dr Khaled al-Sulaiti.

The meeting addressed issues relating to cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of culture.
