Representative of Togolese Community: “candidacy of Ahmed Ould Yahya is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all Africans”

The Representative of the Togolese community in Mauritania, member of the office of African communities in our country Nabouja Salifou Aziz, said that candidacy of Ahmed Ould Yahya is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all Africans.

In a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, he declared that “the African communities which have the chance to live in this country and get to know this generous country and its hospitable people, have witnessed the great achievements of this young ambitious man to the Mauritanian football; as such, we believe that his candidacy is very important to African football.

He pointed out that Mauritania, which hosts its first major football competition, in very difficult circumstances, has proved its worth and absolute rights to host more events larger than CAN U-20. He praised the successful organization of the tournament and the availability of a high-standard infrastructure.
