Mauritanian Ambassador to Nigeria Presents Credentials to ECOWAS

On 16 January, in Abuja, HE Mr.Amedi Camara, the Ambassador of Mauritania to the Federal Republic of Nigeria presented his letters to Mr. Omar Ali Toure, the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), in his capacityas Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to this organization.

The ECOWAS President then held a meeting with the Ambassador during which Mr. Camara conveyed to him the greetings of Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians

Abroad and the Mauritanian Government, as well as their personal wishes for health and happiness, progress, and prosperity for the the West African organization.

For his part, Mr. Toure instructed the Ambassador to convey his greetings to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad and to the Mauritanian Government, hailing the exemplary relations that exist between ECOWAS and Mauritania.
