Minister of Health Decorates WHO Representative

The Minister of Health, Mr. Mohamed Nedhirou Ould Hamed, decorated, Monday in Nouakchott, on behalf of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Mauritania, Mr. Abdesselam Gueye, with the medal of Officer of the Order of National Merit.

This decoration comes as a sign of recognition by the Mauritanian State of the sacrifices made to strengthen cooperation relations between our country and the WHO by the UN official whose term in Mauritania has ended.

The decoration ceremony was attended by the secretary general of the Ministry of Health, several officials from the department and the coordinator of United Nations programs in Mauritania.
