President of Republic Kicks off 6th Mauritanides Conference and Exhibition

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, supervised Tuesday, at the international Conference center of Nouakchott, the kick-off of the 6th Mauritanides Conference and Exhibition, organized by the ministry of petroleum, energy, and mines.

After the opening ceremony of the event, the President of the Republic toured the various pavilions of the exhibition organized on the mining and oil industries by Mauritanian and foreign companies in order to promote their expertise and experience in this vital field.

By organizing this conference, the ministry of petroleum aims to introduce Mauritania’s mining capabilities and shed light on its energy strategy and vision that seek make the country a regional and global energy hub.

This edition will know the participation of 2000 national and foreign visitors and the organization of 100 pavilions for the exhibiting companies.
