On 21 November, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, the Minister of Livestock and acting Minister of Agriculture, participated, via videoconference, in the 57th session of the Council of Ministers of the Permanent Interstate Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS), held in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena.
This session is preparing for the Conference of Heads of State and Government to be held in the coming days.
The ministers shall approve a structural reform plan, action plans, and new programs, which will be submitted for approval by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government at their next summit.
The technical committees had submitted to the Council of Ministers of the regional organization in its current session 11 decisions and 17 recommendations for approval, as part of the structural reform plan that the committee intends to adopt, and which was approved by the organization in its previous session at the level of Heads of State and Government held in 2020 in N’Djamena.
