Human Rights Commissioner Receives OHCHR Representative

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Mohamed El Hassan Ould Boukhreiss, held talks, on Thursday in Nouakchott, with the representative of the Office of the United Nation High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mauritania, Mr. Laurent Meillan.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the cooperative relation between Mauritania and this international Human Rights institution, particularly in the field of the commission’s intervention.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Rassoul Ould El Khal, the director of Human Rights, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikhna, and the director of the Media, AwarenessRraising, and Documentation Center, Mr.Isselmou Ould Salihi.
