Finance Minister Meets IMF Managing Director

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, met Monday in Riyadh with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, on the sidelines of the high-level session, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Finance in partnership with the International Monetary Fund, to tackle food insecurity.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Mauritania and the IMF, particularly in the field of food security of four country.
