Foreign Affairs Minister Receives Head of EU Delegation in Mauritania

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, M. Ismaël Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received Tuesday His Excellency Mr. Giacomo Durazzo, Ambassador, Head of the European Union’s delegation in Mauritania.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the pioneering role played the European Union in the stability and development of the Sahel region. The discussions also focused on President of Republic’s recent visit to the headquarters of the EU in Brussels and the required practical follow-up.

The meeting took place in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Lemine Moulaye Ely, Ambassador, General Manager of Multilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
