President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott From Tamchekett

On 21 July, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott coming from the town of Tamchekett after supervising the launch of the 2022-2023 agricultural campaign.

The President of the Republic was received at Nouakchott Oumtounsy international airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud, and some government members; the Director of the President’s Cabinet; the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Governor of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was accompanied by an important delegation including:

– Mr. Yahaya Ould Ahmed El Waghef, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic;
-Mr. Adama Bocar Soko, the Minister of Agriculture;
– Ms. Toutou Mint Khattry, the Commissioner for Food Security;
– Mr. Saleh Ould Dehmach, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic,
-Mr. Nany Ould Chrougha, an advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;
-Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Fattah, an advisor at the Presidency of the Republic,
-Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocols.

He was also accompanied by a delegation of businessmen, led by Mr. Mohamed Zein El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers.
