Environment Minister Receives FAO Resident Representative

On 30 June, in Nouakchott, Ms. Aissata Daouda Diallo, the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, received a team from the representation of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to Mauritania, led by the resident representative, HE Mr. Huynh Anh Tai Alexander.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two parties, particularly in the area of design, formulation, and access to funding for project portfolios, under national priorities in terms of adaptation to climate change, ecosystem restoration, and wetland conservation.
