President of Republic Inaugurates Ministry of National Defense?s New Headquarters

On 24 June, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed and Security Forces, inaugurated the new headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense in Nouakchott.

After watching a video on the components and characteristics of the building and its role in setting up conditions conducive to the execution by this vital sector of its missions, the President of the Republic cut the symbolic ribbon marking the beginning of the operation of this building. Then he visited, in the company of the Minister of National Defense, the various wings, sections, and rooms of the building.

Thanks to its reception capacity and its technical characteristics, this headquarters offers working conditions adapted to the staff of the ministry, which will contribute to increasing the profitability of the work and the efficiency in the execution.
