Commissioner for Human Rights Meets With OHCHR Representative

On 14 June, in Nouakchott, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, met with Mr. Laurent Meillan, the representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to Mauritania.

The talks focused on the cooperation relations between Mauritania and this UN institution and the ways and means to strengthen and develop them further, particularly in the areas of the Commission’s intervention.
