Minister of Public Service Holds Working Session with ILO Director General

On 3 June in Geneva, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, the Minister of Civil Service and Labor, held a meeting with Mr. Guy Ryder, the Director General of the International Labor Organization ILO).

The meeting reviewed the different aspects of cooperation between Mauritania and this organization and the challenges in the area of organizing trade union work and the fight against child labor.

Mr. Ryder stressed ILO?s commitment to strengthen and enhance cooperation with Mauritania by developing a new cooperation program taking into account all needs.
