Minister of Economic Affairs Participates in AfDB Annual Meetings in Ghana

The annual meetings of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) began on 23 May in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, in the presence of Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors.

These meetings began with that of the Joint Steering Committee of the Annual Assembly, which is the AfDB?s General Assembly.
The meeting examined the annual reports, elected the members of the board of directors, and appointed the auditors.
The reports submitted to the Assembly included, among others, the 2021 annual report of the independent review mechanism, the annual report, and the audited financial statements for the year ending on 31 December 2021.

On the sidelines of these Assemblies, the Minister had a meeting with the President of the African Development Bank.

It is noteworthy that the Joint Steering Committee includes, in addition to our country, South Africa, Germany, C?te d’Ivoire, Finland, Madagascar, France, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
