President of Republic Meets French Counterpart in Abu Dhabi

On 15 May in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, met his French counterpart, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron.

The meeting made it possible to discuss the existing cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, the ways and means likely to strengthen them, and issues of common interest.

The meeting took place in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, and HE Ms. Mohamed Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Rare, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to UAE.
