Prime Minister Receives UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery

On 12 May in Nouakchott, Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Bilal Messoud met with Mr. Tomoya Obokata, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery, currently visiting Mauritania.

The meeting focused on cooperation between Mauritania and the United Nations, ways likely to strengthen it, and the great efforts made by Mauritania to combat the aftermaths of contemporary forms of slavery.
