New Prime Minister Appointed

Nouakchott 6 August 2020 (AMI)-The President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani appointed, on 6 August 2020, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, new Prime Minister.
After being received by the President of the Republic at the Presidential Palace, the new Prime Minister thanked the President for giving him the opportunity to serve the country.
Mr. Ould Bilal asked the ministers to continue their mission until a new government team is appointed.

The Attorney General’s office declares that it has received the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee’s report and that it will initiate the search procedures rigorously and seriously in accordance with the law
