Minister of Interior Receives Delegation of G-5 Sahel Local Authorities

On 10 May in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization, received a delegation of local authorities of the G-5 Sahel countries, led by Mr. Siaka Dembele, the President of the Regional Council of Segou in the Republic of Mali.

During the meeting, topics related to the role of local governments in the five Sahelian states in promoting decentralization and local development were discussed.
