Minister of Agriculture Receives French Ambassador

On 11 April, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Adama Bocar Soko, received, in Nouakchott, Mr. Robert Moulie, the Ambassador of France to Mauritania, accompanied by the representative of French Cooperation to our country.

The meeting discussed the cooperation between the two countries in agriculture and the state of the ongoing development projects financed by France.

The Ambassador informed the Minister of the launch of a French initiative to support certain countries of the sub-region in food security to overcome current challenges.

The two parties expressed their willingness to continue coordination to overcome any difficulties that may hinder the implementation of the joint program.
