Mauritania Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attacks on Saudi Arabia

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania strongly condemned the repeated terrorist attacks by the Houthis against innocent civilians and economic facilities in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The condemnation came in a statement issued yesterday by the ministry of foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.

“The Islamic Republic of Mauritania strongly condemns the repeated Houthi terrorist attacks on brotherly Saudi Arabia.

Today’s attacks on Jeddah, near the holy Mosque of Mecca, constitute a dangerous act of terrorism and a provocation of the feelings of one and half billion Muslims across the world, a few days before the start of the holy month of Ramadan and the influx of millions of pilgrims from all over the world.

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania reiterates, on this occasion, its full solidarity with the kingdom and support for its legitimate rights to protect its territories and ensure stability in the region and energy supplies to world economies. “
