President of Republic Receives Members of SWEDD Project Regional Committee

President of Republellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, the members of the regional steering committee of the Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend Project in the Sahel (SWEDD), chaired by Ms. Myss Belmonde Dogo, the Minister of Solidarity and the Fight Against Poverty of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

The meeting reviewed the focus areas and achievements of the project for the benefit of Member States.

The meeting took place in the presence of Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, and Mr. Mohamed Lemine Ould Ould Cheikh El Hadrami, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.
