Mauritania Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attacks Against Saudi Arabia

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attacks that targeted civilian energy and water desalination facilities in different regions of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This condemnation was made public in the following statement released on 20 March by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad:

“The brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has again been the target of terrorist attacks with ballistic missiles and drone bombs, targeting civilian energy and water desalination facilities in different regions.

On this occasion, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania condemns, in the strongest terms, this criminal act that targets the lives of innocent civilians and the security of the Gulf region, as well as the world’s energy supply in a delicate international context.

At the same time, it reaffirms the right of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to defend its territorial integrity and to confront all threats to the security and stability of the region. »
