National Defense Minister Inquires About Progress of Construction Work of Training, Peacekeeping Center in Ouad Naga

The Minister of National Defense, M. Hanena Ould Sidi, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Armies, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Bamba Meguet, paid a visit of inspection, on Thursday 10 December, to the ongoing constructions works of the Operational Training and Peacekeeping Center in Ouad Naga.

The construction of this center, which began in 2020 and due to be completed in 2021, is part of the 2020-2024 five-year plan inspired by the program of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

During the visit, the Minister and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the center and its mission.
