National Education Minister Meets With Technical, Financial Partners

On 4 March, Mr. Mohamed Malainine Ould Eyih, the Minister of National Education and Reform of the Education System, met, in Nouakchott, with a delegation of his department’s technical and financial partners that took part in the joint review of the National Education Sector Development Plan.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Minister to hail the partners’ efforts, their interest in promoting the education system in the country, and their contribution to the improvement of students’ educational performance.

He added that the review’s findings and recommendations would receive particular attention from the sector.

In their interventions, the partners welcomed the measures taken by the Mauritanian State to reform education, welcoming fruitful partnership and coordination with the education sector in various school programs.
