Human Rights Commissioner Returns to Nouakchott

On 3 March, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, returned to Nouakchott from Geneva, where he took part in the 49th session of the Human Rights Council.

During his stay in Geneva, Ould Sidi had a working session with Ms. Marthe Jo Hanson, the Head of the Operations and Advocacy Department at the UNOffice for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, devoted to joint projects and development of the national humanitarian action strategy.
