President of Republic Holds Talks With Nigerien Counterpart

On 9 February, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, met in the VIP lounge of Nouakchott international airport with the President of the Republic of Niger, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Bazoum.

During the talks, the two Heads of State reviewed the areas of cooperation between the two countries and the means to enhance them in the common interest of the two brotherly people.

The meeting took place in the presence of Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad; Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization; Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic; and Messrs. Mohamed Lamine Ould Aboye Ould Cheikh El Hadrami and Harouna Traore, Officers in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic, as well as the delegation accompanying the President of the Republic of Niger.
