President of Nouadhibou Free Zone Authority Receives EU Delegation

On 8 February, Mr. Mohamed Ali Ould Sidi Mohamed, the President of the Authority of the Free Zone of Nouadhibou (ZFN), met with a mission of the European Union (EU) led by Ambassador Jones Guilym, the Head of EU Delegation to Mauritania.

During the meeting, the Authority representatives made a detailed presentation of the Free Zone. The presentation highlighted its potential and the advantages it offers to investors. It also addressed future projects, which will boost the economic development of Nouadhibou.

In addition, the two parties also discussed topics related to the fisheries sector to find ways and means to develop it and increase its added value and its contribution to development, particularly at the local level.
