Foreign Affairs Minister Reiterates to Emirati Counterpart Condemnation of Recent Attack

On 19 January, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, renewed to his Emirati counterpart, His Highness Sheikh Abdallah ben Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation, Mauritania’s condemnation of the terrorist attack perpetrated by the Houthi militias on civilian areas and installations in the Emirati territory.

During a telephone conversation with his Emirati counterpart, the Minister expressed his strong condemnation of this terrorist attack and stressed that Mauritania stands in full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in the face of all threats to its security and stability.

On this occasion, the Minister offered his condolences for the victims of the attack and wished all the injured a speedy recovery.
