Foreign Minister Holds Working Session With Ghanaian Counterpart

On 12 January, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, held a working session, in Nouakchott, with the Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, along with the ECOWAS Commission, Mr. Jean-Claude Casey Brou.

The talks addressed the cooperative relations between Mauritania and Ghana and the means to consolidate them, the latest regional and international developments, and issues of common interest.

The two ministers then visited the different pavilions of the Nouakchott Academic University and learned about the various books relating to diplomacy that its library contains.
